About Us
Our nonprofit was established by alumni and parents of Naval Academy midshipmen who were frustrated with the lack of funding and support for aviation at the United States Naval Academy during the academic year.
A registered 501.C3, Naval Academy Aviation Inc, is a small nonprofit started to :

Assist in funding the US Naval Academy Intercollegiate Flight Team.

Fund midshipman academic year aviation activities.

Our stretch goals are:

To provide pilot training scholarships to selected midshipman

Own and operate aircraft to support midshipman aviation in a manner similar to the USNA Sailing Foundation

What We Do
Friends of Naval Academy Aviation is a registered nonprofit whose mission is to provide funding for the US Naval Academy Intercollegiate Flight Team and support midshipmen aviation activities through our fundraising efforts.
Annually, approximately 35% of midshipmen will enter a career in Naval Aviation. The Naval Academy is not resourced to provide aviation training or aviation related experiences during the academic year. We exist to help them do that.
